Carnival Horizon

Carnival Horizon is the newest ship sailing from New York City, and it is certainly filled with New York style!  Carnival Horizon arrived in New York in May 2018, and is sailing from Pier 88 at the Manhattan Cruise Terminal throughout Summer 2018 before repositioning to Miami in September 2018.  Carnival Horizon offers a number of firsts at sea, including the first Dr. Seuss water park at sea, and the first Victoria's Secret boutique at sea.

Speaking of boutiques, earlier this summer, I had the distinct pleasure of joining Carnival Cruise Lines for the unveiling of the Fun Shops onboard the Carnival Horizon, operated by Starboard Cruise Services.  These Fun Shops are like no other, as they offer dynamic, fun shopping experiences at sea, including, but not limited to:

Victoria’s Secret Girls Night Out, where guests can sip champagne while browsing thelatest assortment of merchandise and fragrances, and they can spin the wheel for fabulous prizes!

The Gentleman’s Guide to Love & Life, which is the ultimate guy's guide to style, offering everything from sophisticated fragrances and a signature whiskey to lessons on how to tie a bow-tie and "date night" tips that are sure to create lasting memories.

Le Vian's Style Me Famous Fashion Event, where guests receive red carpet celebrity treatment, as they are styled with signature jewelry pieces, pose for fun photos, and receive a Le Vian gemstone with the option to upgrade to a piece that complements their style.

Rock Envy, where guests of all ages can custom-design the perfect jewelry keepsake of their cruise using a huge selection of charms, bracelets, necklaces, rings and watches. Rock Envy with Crystals from Swarovski® is exclusively available on board select Carnival ships.

In addition to these amazing shopping experiences, Carnival Horizon boasts the first Dr. Seuss Water Works!  This is an amazing addition for families who may have already fallen in love with the Family Harbor staterooms and Family Harbor Lounge that was first introduced on Horizon's sister ship, the Carnival Vista.  Now, families not only have a dedicated family-oriented stateroom area, but they also have a dedicated water park!

Carnival cruise ships have long been known as the Fun Ships, but the cruise line has definitely enhanced the FUN, in a variety of ways, with the Horizon!

Will you be sailing on Carnival Horizon soon?  If so, what are you most looking forward to?
